Buku-buku Kafe is far more a restaurant than a cafe, with a quirky, industrial themed interior and incredible food and drinks.

Buku-buku means “many books”. You’ll be surprise by the books hanging from the ceiling that will draw you in.

Interior walls are cladded in corrugated panel with painted murals on them, frame photos of old Manila in black & white and wallpaper made with pages from old books.

They have some wonderful design elements including lots of cool stuff like the Union Jack guitar Cd player (literally caught my attention).

(Union Jack Cd player )

The acoustic guitar that showcases the owner’s passion for arts and music, which is also an evident through live acoustic music performed by the indie artists every Thursdays.

The menu offers everyone’s favorite, from pastries, finger foods , pastas and everything in between. As well as main meals and brunches.

We got to try their top dishes like “Our Laksa”, I love the quality of the soup. It was perhaps the best I’ve tasted, very comforting and full of flavor. Perfect for family and friends.

Their 3 way Sisig consist of Tofu, Spicy Pork & Tuna were really good. As well as their Sisig Nachos.

Buku-buku Kafe is South peeps’ favorite cafe to visit for some good food, good music and comforting vibe. No wonder they’ve won as Zomato Foodies Choice in South.
